The past few weeks have been hectic to say the least, but I'm glad to say that I now have a whole four weeks of pure laid back bliss before the next back to school rush. I should have an amazingly written little piece telling you about all the crazy things that have been going on, but honestly I'm just not feeling it lately.
Lilli is one now and as cute as ever.
She says and does funny things all the time.
I'm queasy and have migraines a lot.
It's too hot for the pool so we swim often.
Yep, that's about all I have for my amazing tell all of the past few weeks. Tomorrow I'll write up something eloquent and fun filled.
How are all of my blogging momma's?

Beautiful Chaos
Let me start of by saying I'm not ignoring any of you girlies, blogger is just being buggy right now and won't let me comment.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Before Little Bug I never imagined time could fly by so quickly with so much happening in between, but here we are. In just 96 hours my princess will be eleven months old. Gone are the days of a little bundle snuggled up into my arms around the clock, now I'm lucky if she'll stay still for five minutes after nursing so I can get some cuddle time in. No more are the whimpers and little coo's here to stay are the cries of momma, squealed no's, and giggles over a cat. I love the changes, I really do, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss those old days.
Since having a child my idea of how time passes has changed completely. I can't even begin to fathom what kind of little person will be passed out on me this time next year, but I'm pretty sure there will be a ton of beautiful chaos on the way there.

Coupons
Inspired by that Extreme Coupon show on TLC, you know the one where they spend two dollars on an eight-hundred dollar bill, I've decided to try my hand at couponing! Now, I'm the kind of women who will try just about anything once, but fifteen minutes into flipping through these coupons and I'm already going mad. Something is telling me that I will have to utilize a lot more patience and organization skills than I had planned.
I'll update with how well it goes :D

I swore I wouldn't
Most people want to do what is best for their kids, and while that means something different to everyone, I would wager that most momma's out there have a list of things they swear they would never let THEIR kid do. Being a pretty health conscious person my list of things included something along the lines of, "I swear I'll never give a baby or toddler of mine pure junk food". So far it's been an easy success Bug thinks she's hit the jackpot when she gets things like dried fruit and yogurt.
Well, my cute little processes has a very nasty staph infection and is on some pretty heavy duty antibiotics or, I should say, is suppose to be on them. After much fuss I ended up forcing the first dose down her throat. Horrible idea. She coughed, sputtered, and chocked, to say I felt awful doesn't even cover it. The time for the next dose comes and I try to get creative. I loaded up the dispenser, sat down to nurse her, and waited till she was thoroughly distracted, When the time seemed right I tried to slowly ease it in and squirt just a tiny bit in. She raspberried it out in my face and went back to nursing. I repeated the process hoping to get something into her and ended with all 4mL of that ick in my face.
The process continues for three days, I mix it in yogurt, in milk, slip it in her hummus, try to sneak it as she drift to sleep, no luck. Honestly, I can't blame her,the stuff taste horrible, but she has to take it none-the-less.
At the edge of sanity and getting desperate Mr. Man suggest I put it in something like Sunny-D, which is definitely violated my junk food rule, but I was desperate at this point so I made her a cup and crossed my fingers anxiously. I should have known it would be no good, but I was being optimistic. Actually, I was so optimistic I didn't bother to take my favorite shirt for her off and now it has a nice big red stain down the front. That brings us to a few hours ago. This time it's a tiny bit of ice cream and some milk. My heart breaks as I had her the cup filled with pink shake. It must have been decent, because she took two sips before spitting it out at me. Needless to say, I'll be heading to Walgreen's to have them put a different flavor in her medicine.
What's something on your list of things you swear you would never do? Have you broken any of them yet?

A Resolution and Friends
THE RESOLUTION: This isn't the first time I've started a blog, however this is the first time I've resolved to keep it up and running. With friends and family all over the place a blog makes for a much more personal way to keep up with our hectic life than 150 word facebook updates. Honestly, I beat myself up for not doing this sooner.
THE FRIENDS: For those of you who aren't avid Harry Potter fans (what is wrong with you!!!) our little blog is named after Ron Weasley's first attempt at performing a spell, and so I figure what better way to start out our postings than with some pictures from a playdate with our Harry Potter Buddies Big K and little K. Big K has been a close friend most of my childhood, but I've just convinced her to experience the wonder of Harry Potter. In all honestly if little K hadn't beat her up and made her so uncomfortable she probably would have never consented to those long evenings watching and explaining the Potter universe, but that doesn't matter because we have her hooked now. Now, to the point. Some cute pictures of Little Bug and Little K in their matching outfits.
